All Aboard!

Both my best friend and I come from train families, and despite the fact that we are women, we LOVE trains! We love to ride on them and to read about them. And to decorate Christmas trees with them and wear T-shirts with them on the front - you get the idea. We are both members of the California State Railroad Museum, and I belong to Railtown 1897 State Historic Park and have just joined the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation. So, I was thrilled to discover a new book on an old train disaster that happened in my home state of Washington. It's the first non-fiction book written by novelist Gary Krist, and compelling reading for everyone - not just train buffs!
